Our journey
Over twenty-five years building a different kind of acoustic engineering: from field knowledge to proprietary technology.
Ten milestones that define who we are.
Where it all begins: field knowledge
Before SNA existed as a company, its technical team had accumulated over 15 years of direct experience in industrial acoustic engineering, energy projects, critical infrastructure, and advanced vibration studies. This expertise is not learned from a book — it is forged by solving real problems in complex environments.
An acoustic engineering firm with a different calling is born
SNA is founded with a clear premise: to apply real technical rigour to acoustic engineering, far from generalist approaches. From day one, the company focuses on delivering field solutions that work, not theoretical reports that end up in a drawer.
Pioneers in acoustic diagnostic technology
SNA imports and integrates the first acoustic camera in Spain — a diagnostic tool that allows visualising sound behaviour in real time. This milestone is a turning point: SNA goes from being a competent firm to becoming a national technical reference.
Positioning in the most demanding sectors
Thanks to the acquired technical capability, SNA positions itself in sectors where acoustics cannot afford errors: energy industry, data centres, and critical infrastructure. The company leaves behind generalist consultancy and establishes itself as a high-level acoustic engineering firm.
When conventional solutions are not enough
SNA identifies that conventional acoustic insulation solutions have structural limitations the market accepts as inevitable. Instead of accepting them, it launches a proprietary R&D line focused on three specific challenges: creating demountable systems, developing ventilated solutions, and achieving effective low-frequency control.
An engineered metamaterial that changes the rules of the game
After years of research, SNA conceptualises Basslock®: a modular system with advanced acoustic behaviour, based on geometry control and wave propagation. It is not just another material — it is an engineered metamaterial that solves what traditional insulation cannot.
Basslock® opens the door to new markets
With Basslock® technically validated, SNA expands into sectors previously beyond its reach: sports and major events, HVAC machinery, manufacturing, and civil construction.
National patent and international PCT extension
SNA formally registers the Basslock® technology in Spain and extends its protection internationally via the PCT treaty. This is not merely a legal formality — it is a strategic decision that safeguards innovation and prepares it for global scaling.
From engineering firm to technology company
SNA takes the organisational leap: creates a corporate holding that separates engineering activity from product development, establishes an exclusive licensing model, and designs a structure built for international replicability.
Europe, manufacturing, and global alliances
SNA begins its internationalisation phase with three simultaneous axes: entering the European patent phase (EPO), launching industrial manufacturing, and establishing strategic alliances with international partners. The field knowledge that started over 15 years ago is preparing to scale without borders.

Field knowledge is preparing to scale without borders.
SNA has evolved from an engineering firm into a technology company with industrial and financial vision. A corporate holding, an exclusive licensing model, and a structure designed for international replicability pave the way for European expansion.
Internationalisation advances along three simultaneous axes: the European patent phase (EPO), the launch of industrial manufacturing, and the establishment of strategic alliances with international partners.
