Research, Development and innovation are fundamental pillars of SNA.

The purpose of R&D at SNA is the development and incorporation of new technologies and processes for the diagnosis and analysis of the different types of noise and vibrations existing, especially in the industrial sector (automotive, aeronautics, naval, etc.), which allow us to offer our customers the best solution to their problems.

To this end, we have the necessary state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a technical team that develops solutions for very complex problems:

  • Finite Element Software , allows us to model, simulate and test any real situation, allowing us to optimize any type of execution and/or modification “in situ”.
  • Damping of buildings: one of the most complex problems in a building is the vibration excitation of its structures due to the transit of vehicles, trains or subways. So far, 4 installations have already been carried out in Spain and 2 in Latin America.
  • Noise Monitoring System in real time with legal tracking, which allows us to know at all times the noise levels generated by the activity and listening to the sound samples collected. With this tool, different research projects are being developed in order to reduce noise emissions to the outside environment.
  • Predictive maintenance of fragile equipment in the energy industry through Noise and Vibration Monitoring systems. For this purpose, we have collaboration contracts with worldwide leading companies.
